NVIDIA Announces New Investments in France’s Startups

Companies in France are deploying agentic computing across industries spanning space, financial services, the public sector and scientific research, demonstrating how the country’s ecosystem has moved from ambition to application.

France’s progress sits on deliberate groundwork.

The AI Action Summit in February 2025 and Choose France Summits in 2025 and 2026 anchored major compute commitments on French soil. What the ecosystem has built since then spans the full stack.

NVIDIA’s Investments in France

NVIDIA has been investing in France’s startup ecosystem, having previously invested in leading technology companies including Alice&Bob, Gradium and Scintil Photonics .

Across all of Europe, NVIDIA has committed nearly $10 billion to the technology ecosystem.

Today, NVIDIA announced new planned investments in Doctolib, Entalpic , Genesis AI and Pigment .

These startups are innovating to solve challenges across healthcare, materials discovery, physical AI and business planning.

Doctolib , a European healthcare technology company, builds agents that free up healthcare professionals to deliver better care, while providing patients with a digital health companion that improves access to care and supports more preventive, continuous medicine.

Entalpic , a Paris-based startup, accelerates the engineering of advanced materials at the atomic scale, with particular expertise in surfaces and interfaces for semiconductor manufacturing and next-generation electronics.

Genesis AI is a global robotics company developing general-purpose robots with frontier intelligence and capabilities through its foundation models, data collection systems, simulation infrastructure and robot hardware.

Pigment , a Paris-based enterprise software company, builds a planning platform that helps businesses forecast performance, model scenarios and make decisions across finance, sales, workforce and operations.

Sovereign AI Infrastructure

France-based companies are expanding agentic infrastructure on NVIDIA technology.

Bull is extending its European AI server production to NVIDIA Vera Rubin Ultra NVL72 systems, planned for 2028, with trays produced in Europe and rack integration at its Angers factory — inaugurated Friday, Oct. 2.

Altair-1, the first satellite in a $1 billion, 50-satellite constellation with on-board autonomous capabilities, launched this month and has successfully reached orbit. Integrated by Loft Orbital and built in Abu Dhabi by Orbitworks , a joint venture between Loft Orbital and Marlan Space , the satellite is flying NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin edge modules, running Mistral’s models, for real-time Earth observation and autonomous operations in orbit.

Open Models

NVIDIA Nemotron open models are in production across French organizations that require sovereign, trustworthy data.

LINAGORA and Docaposte have secured the CANUT framework agreement , making Twake.ai, built on NVIDIA Nemotron, the sole referenced sovereign digital workplace for more than 2,500 French public organizations.

In financial services, SBS is launching a sovereign platform enabling banks to deploy governed generative and agentic services within their own environments, in collaboration with NVIDIA.

Dassault Systèmes is using NVIDIA Nemotron open models and accelerated computing to advance its sovereign Industrial AI architecture, accelerating the training of its own Industry World Models and the development of its agentic Virtual Companions platform, grounded in science, physics and engineering for trusted industrial applications.

Last week, Mistral introduced under private preview Mistral Large 4 open model, with state-of-the-art, open weight performance in cyber defense, manufacturing, finance and multimodal tasks, and a solid foundation for customizing models across key industries.

Fondation Inria , with NVIDIA’s support, is launching a working group on open source advanced modeling and tool adoption, with findings to come in the spring of next year.

Agents at Work Across Industries

Across retail, public services, telecommunications and science, the pattern is consistent: open models and NVIDIA infrastructure are driving results in France.

L’Oréal is integrating NVIDIA ALCHEMI into its research workflows so scientists can explore formulation possibilities in silico and better help guide laboratory research. Combining computational predictions with hands-on experimentation can make the discovery process up to 100x faster than traditional methods and maximize the potential of the group’s proprietary active ingredients.

Mirakl has onboarded more than 70 million products with fine-tuned and open models running on NVIDIA GPUs and inference software, cutting seller catalog onboarding to under two hours.

Photoroom and Vestiaire Collective a re demonstrating the measurable business impact of advanced visual modeling on marketplace performance.

Omi helps brands bring accurate products into AI-generated marketing visuals at scale, combining its approved 3D digital twins with open models optimized on NVIDIA for 4x faster inference.

In Côte-d’Or, ThinkDeep and Akila built a digital-twin agent — powered by NVIDIA Cosmos open world models, Nemotron and Omniverse libraries — managing nearly 5,800 kilometers of roads and buildings, cutting total operating costs by 10% and targeting 30% as deployment progresses.

Port Sud de France runs goods processing and port security on ThinkDeep’s DeepBrain platform powered by Nemotron and Cosmos.

Enchanted Tools, a robotics company headquartered in Paris, is deploying social robots to support patients in healthcare settings including pediatric cancer care.

In telecom, Bouygues Telecom and Prisme.ai have launched AI Studio V2, powered by NVIDIA full-stack infrastructure, to offer all of its employees the ability to build their own agents, securely and in a controlled environment

In quantum, Alice & Bob has integrated the NVIDIA NVQLink platform for its superconducting cat qubits, showing how GPUs can make quantum error correction more efficient, including for faster qubit modalities.

Quandela has also been using NVQLink to build an integration between a DGX Spark system and its photonic qubits — advancing QPU-GPU supercomputing and exploring hybrid quantum-classical applications.
